Zeder Unity Club Holds 2025 AGM and End-of-Year Program at Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort

The Zeder Unity Club (ZUC)—a registered non-profit organization committed to “Changing Lives & Creating Opportunities”—successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and End-of-Year Program (EOYP) from 14 – 16 November 2025 at the iconic Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort, Ekiti State.

The two-day event brought together members from within Nigeria and the diaspora, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to review organizational progress, evaluate the achievement of 2025 objectives, and develop strategic direction for the 2026 operational year. Discussions centered on strengthening community impact, enhancing service delivery, and identifying key opportunities for collective growth.

Earlier in the year—on 15 September 2025—ZUC successfully executed its “Back to School Project,” distributing over 1,000 branded exercise books alongside other educational materials to pupils in three public schools in Ibadan, Oyo State. The project reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to educational support and youth development.

Event Highlights

The AGM/EOYP featured a blend of strategic sessions and recreational experiences, including:
• Guided tour of the warm and cold spring groves
• Mountain hiking and swimming sessions
• Annual General Meeting, lectures, and enlightenment sessions
• Dinner Hangout and the resort’s signature Bonfire Night event

These activities fostered networking, team building, and strengthened the unity that defines the Zeder community.

Commendations

ZUC extends appreciation to the management and staff of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort for their exemplary hospitality, professional service delivery, serene environment, and well-maintained facilities.

The Club also acknowledges the Government of Ekiti State for its continued investment in tourism infrastructure. Members noted significant improvements in road networks leading to Ikogosi–Ekiti, particularly the Ikere–Igbara-Odo–Ikogosi, Efon–Ipole Iloro–Ikogosi, and Ado–Ilawe–Erinjiyan–Ikogosi corridors. These upgrades have notably enhanced accessibility and visitor experience at the resort.

Looking Ahead

Zeder Unity Club congratulates its President, Executive Committee, and members on the successful execution of the 2025 AGM/EOYP. The organization remains committed to meaningful partnerships, capacity-building initiatives, and purpose-driven projects aimed at building a stronger and more united society.
